Scholarship Information

The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province launched CMEEF Scholarship with an initial seed money of about 500 Million Rupees, a handsome amount to be spent on education by a provincial government in a country where only a total of 2% of GDP is spent on educational sector. This fund was regulated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Scholarships Endowment Fund Act, 2014 under the chair of Chief Minister KPK.

The scholarship is awarded in collaboration with educational institutes through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). It is a merit-cum-need based scholarship, awarded to deserving and the talented students who are domiciled in KPK. The aim of this scholarship is to produce highly qualified and professionally skilled and trained manpower for the future needs of the province and for Pakistan in the larger run in the selected technological and professional fields.

CMEEF Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

1. At the time of application, the candidate must be enrolled in BS, MS, M.Phill or PhD courses in any of the approved Universities.
2. The candidate must be a KPK Domicile holder
3. Should be admitted on Merit
4. Income of parents/guardian from all sources shouldn't exceed 1,00,000 Rs. per month.
5. Student must not be availing any other scholarship

CMEEF Scholarship Application Procedure

The applications for CMEEF are invited, students have to apply directly to these institutions, any applications submitted directly to the organization shall not be entertained. Afterwards, A Scholarship Scrutiny Committee is set up comprising of senior faculty members of the institution and representative of Higher Education Department. The committe examines the information; students are then invited for interview. At the end of all this process, a recommendation list is generated to be forwarded to PMU, HED KPK.

5. Plus a monthly stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month.
